Routa Company is a contemporary dance production centre from Kainuu, with a mission to produce, develop and enable diverse and personalised dance art. Routa is part of the Regional Dance Center in Northern Finland and the vibrant cultural field of Kajaani.

Our main activities include producing dance art, performance, tour and visiting activities, outreach work, stakeholder and network activities, as well as community dance and applied methods of dance.

Our programme includes our own productions and work by visiting performers. Audience workshops offer an opportunity to engage in art dance for children, adults and seniors.
